Bike Rental
We rent bikes from Rental819 outside Kumamoto city. Please click on the link below to see choice of bikes available for rent and information on riding in Japan.
To ride in Japan, you will need a full motorcycle licence, an International Driving Permit and a credit card and passport for ID and payment.
The bike shop has a wide variety of motorcycles available for hire ranging from Suzuki GSX1300R, Suzuki Katana 1000, Kawasaki Z900, Yamaha MT-09, Honda CB400 to a Honda Rebel 250. As it's a tour around southern Japan, the rental bikes from this Kumamoto shop are all Japanese - very fitting!

Motorcycle and Non-Motorcycle Tours
Howard is very happy to organise and arrange a bespoke tour for an individual or small group of motorcyclists as well as non biking tours in Japan. He has contacts all over Japan and can organise a trip to include a specific destination or area. Maybe you want to see the Suzuka circuit or visit the home of Honda or Kawasaki? Maybe you want to see Mt Fuji or Hokkaido? Kyoto or Okinawa?
